About Bury St Edmunds Instructor Training

As an independent training school, we rely on a good reputation. Without a large budget for advertising, it is essential that we provide an excellent service. Recommendation is our advertising.

As with our learner driving schools, it is imperitive that we provide a friendly, professional and personal service. Unlike larger well known instructor training companies, during the duration of your course, in car training will be with yourself and the trainer only. Tuition will be provided with the same trainer throughout. This will ensure constant progress is made and no differing opinions from trainers, leading to confusion for the student. Since all training is provided on a one-to-one basis, the course will progress at a rate suited to you.

Why join us?

Our school provides driving lessons throughout Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.

As a trainee instructor gain important experience with our driving school, join us as a fully trained ADI or once qualified, set up your own driving school.

Joining our school will provide you with good experience and with no contract to sign you have nothing to lose.

We like our instructors to stay with us because they want to, not because of a lengthy binding contract.

Tailor made driving instructor training

Course materials and lessons are structured in a fluid and easy to understand system. Our courses are designed for the progress of the individual and not the masses allowing you to manage your training around other full or part time committments you many have. We are confident that you will succeed with our training system. So much so that we will not at any point ask you to sign any contract. We operate a 'pay as you train' system, making the course financiably managable. Savings can be made however if all course fees are initially paid for.

There are 3 exams you will need to take and pass in order to become a fully qualified driving instructor. However, once you have passed the second exam (Part 2), a trainee instructor licence can be applied for. A trainee licence lasts for up to 6 months. This will enable you to gain valuble experience teaching real pupils in preperation for the Part 3 exam and earn money either full or part time. During your time as a trainee or when fully qualified, you can be a part of our Bury St Edmunds Driving School team.
