About the Bury St Edmunds Instructor Course
Good training is essential to become a fully qualified driving instructor. To eliminate any confusion and conflicts within your training, your course will be conducted with the same highly skilled trainer at all times. Many instructor training schools conduct the course using various trainers. In order to maintain a steady and progressive learning curve, it is essential that the same trainer is provided to you throughout the entire course duration.
The Bury St Edmunds Driving Instructor Course incorporates an easy to understand system that can be taken as slowly or as fast as the individual requires. Should you need any help or advice out of training hours, your trainer is available by telephone or email.
How long will it take to become a driving instructor?
In order to become a fully qualified driving instructor you will need to pass three tests in order from part 1, part 2 and part 3. Due to the DSA's waiting restrictions, there is around an 8 week waiting time between tests. Taking this into account, rather than taking an intensive course, spreading the course to fit between your existing work commitments and the DSA test waiting times would be beneficial. Spreading the course over several weeks will allow you more time to practice in your own time as well as providing more time to establish what areas need more focus.
